Olympia Pizza and Spaghetti House III opened in it's current location on 15th Avenue on Capitol Hill in 1989. While other businesses and restaurants on the block have come and gone in the past decade or so, Olympia Pizza has managed to maintain itself as one of the communities most stable establishments. With it's cozy decor and comfortable dining environment, neighborhood residents have come to know Olympia Pizza as an affordable, pleasant place to dine whether it's a date, a meal with the family, or a party to celebrate a graduation or office promotion. The tall, cushy booth seating offers privacy for customers and the open table seating allows for large groups of friends or family to share a pizza or two. In the summertime, outdoor seating is available for those who wish to bask in the hot weather while eating, and for those looking to escape the heat, the cool, air-conditioned dining room is the perfect answer.
The restaurant was established by Spiro Aliagas, who founded all the Olympia Pizza's in 1989, but has been independently owned and operated by Harry Nicoloudakis since1991. Harry Nicoloudakis is a lifelong Seattle resident, whose career as a restauranteur began as an employee of Spiro Aliagas in the late 1980's. Since then, he has managed to maintain all the original recipes and quality passed down to all three Olympia Pizza's established in the Greater Seattle area that are all now independently owned and operated.
